The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the novice continues to be one of the sport's largest financial successes, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
